It's a Jubilee morning in Jacob's land.

There's joy and thanksgiving on every hand.

Slaves are singing, suddenly free,

with joy proclaiming the Year of Jubilee.

Debts are forgiven; bills are paid,

starving widows, no longer afraid.

Every man's land is returned to him,

even if he lost it because of sin.

Each one's inheritance will be returned,

no matter how much or how little he earned.

Blow the ram's horn! Blow it long and loud!

From the shepherd on the hills to the village crowd.

If the Jubilee were a long time away,

a Kinsman Redeemer could be the one to pay.

We have a Redeemer. Christ is He,

who paid the price and set us free.

Our slavery is ended; our debts are paid.

On Him, our sins and sorrows were laid.

We'll sing His praises for ever more;

our inheritance awaits for us to explore.

As in Adam we died, so in Christ we abound,

declaring His name wherever bondage is found.

All over the planet, all men will be set free,

in the day of God's Glorious Jubilee!
