Long ago, God promised "Abe,"

that in His seed, all men would be saved (Gen. 22:18; 26:4).

This was the gospel, revealed in the Christ (Gal. 3:8),

who took on flesh and paid the price (Eph. 1:7: Col. 1:14).

For it was always understood

that forgiveness came by the shedding of blood (Heb. 9:22).

The cross was a vital part of God's plan (John 12:32; Eph. 2:16; Col. 1:20),

in His heart before the world began (Rev. 13:8).

Time rocked on; Abe's kids sinned (Rom. 3:23),

because they had no power within (Rom. 7:17-20),

until Jesus gave us a second birth; (I Pet. 1:23).

then a New Creation walked the earth (II Cor. 5:17).

The promises of God are "yea" and "Amen," (II Cor. 1:20)

birthed from above, we begin again (John 3:3).

We are sons of God, you and me, (I Jn. 3:1),

forgiven, glorified, sanctified and free (Rom. 3:24,28;8:1).

He'll send us forth to every nation (Rom. 10:14-15)

to speak peace to all creation (Zec. 9:10).

He'll restore His creation to pristine glory (Acts 3:21),

the perfect ending to the "mud creature's" story (Rev. 21:2-6).
