Lenny's Meditations, Aug. 23, 2001
What I see in the Resurrection Life is that God is not concerned with what people have been like up to now, like religion is. God's unconditional love and the blood of Christ covers everyone; so when we come into the Resurrection Life, we can lay hands on anyone and they will receive the Resurrection Life. This is a picture of the year of Jubilee in the Old Testament, where everyone was set free. All the slaves, all the people in jail were set free. Everyone received his inheritance that he had lost, and this is what is happening here. In the Resurrection Life, as each one comes into it, we are receiving our inheritance, the fulness of the Spirit, the fulness of the presence of God in our lives. The inheritance is to know our Father and our Creator in His full glory and honor and majesty, and this is what we're stepping into in the Resurrection Life. To know Him is to know His life and light and love. The Resurrection Life is so totally free and pure that it is like hearing the trumpet of God, saying, "Come up hither to me, and I will show you my very life." There is nothing that we can imagine or compare with being totally filled with the Spirit of God, part of the Trinity, and in that moment, He leads us into all truth. We will see everything clearly in the Resurrection Life.
To me, this is the answer to everything that we long for. It will be totally God, no religion can copy it. Nothing but the glory of God and God receiving all the glory from everyone. Just like Jesus said, "If I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me" (John 12:32). And this is exactly what is going to happen, because we are going to see tens of thousands of people coming into the kingdom in this way. He has revealed that this is going to happen in this area where we live. It will surpass every religion on the earth, because it will not be religion at all. It will be totally God. So, no one can criticize the other on their doctrine. All creation is waiting on tiptoe for this to happen (Rom. 8:19-22), because they all want to be released from the struggle that is going on now, and all creation is included in it, not just humans. Just like Isaiah said, the lion will be laying down with the lamb, because there will be no more struggle. God will set everyone free. The other night, when I was enjoying the Lord, for some reason, I just felt like bending over and petting one of our cats which was laying on the couch. And God said, "All creation is included." What a joy to know that everything will be set free, not just us humans, but everything else, because "the glory of the Lord will cover the earth like the waters cover the sea" (Hab. 2:14). Many religions will criticize it because they will say, "They have not done this or they have not done that." They are looking for self effort and there will be no self effort at all. Everything will be set free by God and we will be free indeed. And when we see Him, we shall be like Him, because we realize that we really are what He is. We cannot be anything else. Just like the scripture says, "As He is, so are we in this world" (I John 4:17). What a freedom to see that, and there is nothing we have done to earn it. He has totally paid the whole price. We cannot take any credit for anything. When we have the fulness of the Spirit, then God becomes all in all in us. To God be the glory, to God be the glory for all the things He has done.
There is nothing I want more than having God flow through me in rhema, in pure life, in pure light, in pure love, in pure mercy, in pure kindness. Father, haste the day for us to come into your Resurrection Life that you have revealed to us. We want it now, Father. We need it now, Father. Father, you are in and of us right now. All you have to do is release yourself as Resurrection Life in us. It is you Father, going forth in your own Resurrection Life in and through us. In this place, I believe we will be able to function in time and in the eternal until God does away with time. The beauty of it all is that there are no limits. Every thing and every need I can think of can be met by this Resurrection Life. Since You are the life in everyone, You can flow forth in Your eternal life in everyone.
No one that I can think of is going to be left out at all. In our growth in God, as young people and teenagers, the best we could see was the "conditional" of God, just like in the Old Testament where they had to prove themselves before God. But now, as we come into spiritual maturity, we come into the full grace of God and we can see that God is unconditional, unconditional love, unconditional mercy, unconditional kindness. There are no conditions to any of these things at all. God just wants to heap them upon us. No matter what we have been like, or what we do, God loves us so unconditionally that He wants to pour forth Himself into us and through us. And this is what He is expressing to me in Resurrection Life. There are no limits to anyone. Everyone can receive it because there are no conditions to receiving it. Jesus paid the price, and God loves us so unconditionally that He just wants to pour forth Himself into us in Resurrection Life. The most joyful thoughts that I have when I think of this Resurrection Life, is the fact that nothing depends on me whatsoever. God just wants to heap love, mercy and kindness and righteousness and joy and peace upon us. The complete fulness of His Spirit in our lives becomes the fulness of fellowship with God in our lives. There is no more seeing God through a glass darkly. But it is going to be clear to us what He's like, what He is, and what we are compared to Him. Again, the scripture comes to me, "As He is, so are we in this world." That is what we're going to see. The scales are going to be dropped from our eyes, removed from our eyes completely. We are going to have better than 20/20 vision in seeing God. "When we see Him, we will be like Him" (I John 3:1), the scripture says. We are going to see actually what we are. We are not going to be able to contain the fulness of our joy when we reach this place of God being all in all in and through us, no more hindrances whatsoever, and we become a blessing to all nations, to all religions, to all people. There will not be one judgmental bone in our body because we are so free ourselves, that we can see this freedom in all people and in all creation. He will be all in all, not just in us, but in everything. That brings me great joy.
In our infancy, we had a tendency to think that this earth was the only harvest field there was that God wanted us to harvest, but now we see that the harvest field is the cosmos. It's just like Preston Eby says, we can take this to all the other solar systems, to all the other galaxies, to all the other universes perhaps, that don't know what God is like, and we will be that bright light to everyone, not only to those here on this planet, but to all other planets. We have not even taken the first step to announce God's love to His whole creation. I see us gradually ending our training program here and going forth to do that which God had in mind all along. In this Resurrection Life and the fulness of the Spirit, God is complete in and through us, and our new life has just begun. We will look back at our infancy and rejoice that God was so patient with us. All along, there was that unconditional love, but we were not able to see it or understand it until now, and we will understand that God kept these things from us for a purpose, so that we could grow up the way He wanted us to grow up. Can you just imagine with me the joy, the rest, and the peace that we're going to walk in from now on? It is so rich and fulfilling in me that I cannot let go of it. All day long, I keep thanking God for revealing these things to me. Instead of seeing the parade of God going by from the street level, we now see the parade of God's salvation going by from the third or forth story balcony. We see a much broader view of it, and our joy becomes so much greater. To think that our Father has intrusted all of this to us, all these expectations of coming into this Resurrection Life has just fired me up with the love of God and the mercy of God and the kindness of God. I can't wait for God to display it through me. I can barely sleep anymore, expecting this to happen any moment. Father, haste the day.
